Free Cloverdayle Concert – Proceeds going to CARE

Tillamook County residents have had some devastation from the storm December 9 that has caused residents to focus on debris removal, livestock saving, water recession and weather watching. After a conversation with Chad and Rachal Hamar of Cloverdayle who are due to arrive Wednesday December 16 from Nashville for their final concert of 2015. A change in the evening has been decided. The concert will be FREE to residents of Tillamook. A decision between all parties was made that the county needs a night of music, fun, food and friends. The theatre holds 240, which is 240 people who can for one night enjoy some great music and forget to watch the news to see the recent devastation.

“This is a great idea that was brought to me by Cynthia Tuel (promoter of the event). The county has lost so much that the theatre is behind this concept of a free concert. The Coliseum Theatre will donate a portion of their profit from concessions from the night to CARE,” owner Sheila Zerngast stated as she was preparing for the Polar Express movie. CARE was the organization that will receive donations from the night. Local residents can make a donation that night. CARE has been handling all the influx of calls on people who have suffered loss. Gordon McCraw, Emergency Management Director stated “CARE not only helps people they also manage the Kilchis House. Kilchis House in the storm suffered extensive damage to their kitchen, this will be a great added benefit to them.” People can make donations that night or just come for a night out. The community needs a storm relief event.

Come on out 6:30PM Wednesday December 16 for a night of music, friends, and a moment to relax in all the storm aftermath chaos. If you have previously purchased tickets, you can receive a refund or allow those funds to go to CARE as part of the donation from the night. “This will be a great night for locals to come together for a night of music and friends. After seeing the devastation I realized that we need a night for residents to come together for a night out,” commented Cynthia Tuel, promoter. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, food and beverage will be available to purchase and donations will be accepted also. For more information call or text 503-812-3861.
